BEHIND THE THRILL
JOHN SVARTBERG is a highly passionate and versatile music composer born in Northern Europe in the late 80’s. He specialises in cinematic, orchestral, ambient and electronic music. He works in a high quality music studio located in central Stockholm, where he possess modern industry standard equipment for any small to big major-sized film, TV-show, trailer or game-project. Equipped with top-tier sample libraries that can put your music in the most sought after recording studios such as ABBEY ROAD, TELDEX SCORING STAGE and AIR STUDIOS. The studio is recently upgraded with a Mac Studio M2 Ultra for handling the most complex and demanding projects.
WHAT MUSIC CAN I WRITE FOR YOU?
I can write you epic orchestral music in Hollywood-quality for film, games or trailers as well as quiet ambient film scores with smaller string beds and intimate orchestrations for those deep emotional moments. I also do have a large place in my heart for electronic music, if you want to go really dark sci-fi out in space. Versatility is one of my core strengths as a composer. Music and emotions is my primary language. The projects I worked on have accumulated over 20 million views on YouTube.
THE PROCESS
I constantly write music in my head everyday. I often write and orchestrate my musical ideas in my head before I re-create them in my studio. In this flexible way I can try out different sounds and tunes in my head before having to create. This also helps develop my intuition when writing. The piano is my instrument and I work mainly in Cubase Pro.
